User interfaces of SUM 20.0.0 (Beta)

The solution provides the following interfaces:

  • Web UI for interactive server management, firmware baseline management, firmware update workflows, activity tracking, and job monitoring. The UI follows HPE Compute Ops Management workflow patterns to deliver a consistent user experience.

  • Command-line interface (CLI) through the smartupdate compatibility command to support scripted remote firmware updates.

  • REST API over HTTPS to enable automation and integration with external tools and workflows. API clients authenticate and include a bearer token when accessing protected resources. Where applicable, the API request and response model aligns with HPE Compute Ops Management APIs.
