Downloading firmware

About this task

This task describes how to download firmware packages and Service Pack for HPE ProLiant (SPP) ISO bundles from the HPE Software Delivery Repository (SDR), where firmware is organized by hardware generation for firmware baseline configuration and update management.

Procedure

  1. Access the HPE Software Delivery Repository using a web browser.
  2. Browse the available SDR projects.
  3. Select the repository that matches your hardware generation (for example, spp-gen11 or spp-gen10).
  4. On the SDR Project Page, review the available firmware packages.
  5. Locate the required firmware bundle. For example, an SPP ISO file or individual firmware packages.
  6. Select the appropriate firmware package.
  7. Download the selected file to your local system.
  8. Verify that the download is complete and the file is accessible.
