What's new in SUM 20.0.0 (Beta)
The solution introduces a service-based architecture for firmware lifecycle
management. Key changes include:
- Provides a browser-based user interface hosted on the SUM server.
- Exposes REST APIs aligned with the
/compute-ops-mgmtAPI model. - Stores server, firmware bundle, job, and activity data in a local SQLite database.
- Secures access through HTTPS-only communication on TCP port
63002. - Uses OS authentication with bearer-token-based sessions.
- Encrypts and securely stores iLO credentials.
- Tracks discovery, onboarding, firmware bundle uploads, analysis, and update operations
- Supports service-based deployment on Windows and Linux.
