Updating firmware using Localhost
Prerequisites
Verify that you have completed all the prerequisites.
About this task
The solution supports firmware updates on the local host where it is installed. When the service starts, the local host is automatically discovered and onboarded.
For systems with HPE iLO configured in the standard security state, onboarding completes automatically. For systems with HPE iLO configured in a high-security state, provide the required HPE iLO credentials to complete the onboarding.
This release supports localhost firmware updates through the SUM web interface only. The localhost CLI update workflow is not supported.
